Caddy's On The Beach 5K - Treasure Island, Florida - Running

The Caddy's On The Beach 5K is a Running race in Treasure Island, Florida consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.

Xanadu Race Management is proud to be bringing this swim - run event that we have been hosting for 5 years with Hooters Clearwater Beach, to Treasure Island at Caddy's on the Beach. Sing up early as registration is limited to 150 participants. There will be no pre race day packet pick up prior to race day. Check in opens at 8:00 a.m. on race morning at Caddy's On The Beach, 9000 W. Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island, FL.

At 9:00 a.m. all swimmers will begin the one mile ocean water swim which begins on the beach in front of Caddy's Parallel to the coast heading North out and back in a 1/2 mile distance each way. Buoys are set at the quarter mile 1/2 mile exit for those who do not want to swim the entire full mile swim. The top 5 males in the top 5 females will be awarded top finish frames out the post race awards party for those who complete the full ocean mile distance. All participants received the awesome Cadillac race finishers medal one per athlete.

We change gears and get onto the beach for the 10:00 a.m. 5K run/walk which all registrations are invited to participate in. Registrant only needs to pay one fee but has the option to participate in both events. The 5K 3.1 mile distance is a run walk north and back from Caddy's at Treasure Island.

Our post race party opens at 10:30 a.m. at Caddy's on the Beach free to all participants and your guests. All registrants will receive one Cadillac race finisher's medal, a free draft beer, your race local race shirt, and a Caddy's food sampler.

This event is very popular with locals as well as those traveling to the Tampa Bay beach area on vacation The race is non competitive in nature and though all athletes are electronically time, this is not a multi sport event. The swim begins at 9:00 a.m. and the run walk begins at 10:00 a.m. in 2 separate events.



This race is open to participants of all ages and abilities and we invite those who are traveling through town to join us on this beautiful Treasue Island beach located on the West Central Coast of Florida.
