About The Run to the Sun 8K

The Run to the Sun 8K is a Running race in Orange Park, Florida consisting of a 1 Mile and 8K.

This 8K run starts at the intersection of Wells Road and River Road. It follows a out and back course along the beautiful St. Johns River on River Road and finishes behind the Orange Park bestbet. (formerly the Kennel Club). This is a Grand Prix race certified by the USTAF. Food and refreshments will be provided after the race. Water Stations will be located at approximately 1.5 and 2.5 miles along the 8K course. Due to safety concerns, no strollers or pets are allowed in the 8K or the Fun Run.
