Longwood Monster Dash 5K - Longwood, Florida - Running

The Longwood Monster Dash 5K is a Running race in Longwood, Florida consisting of a 5K.

Come be a part of our run through the historic district of Longwood. All of the proceeds will go to benefit historic preservation in Longwood, via the Longwood Historic Society. The society maintains three buildings within the district that were built in the 1870s and 1880s. We need your help to raise money for the continuous restoration and preservation necessary to keep them around for another generation!

The race will be fun, family-friendly and Halloween themed. We invite runners to wear costumes and will be awarding prizes for the best costumes. There will be a free kids dash immediately before the 5K. Top three medals will be given to 5K winners for overall and each five-year age bracket.

The race will begin and end at the Bradlee-McIntyre House in downtown Longwood's historic district. We will have an after party at the Historic Longwood Civic Center with drinks, burgers and hotdogs. Each race participant will receive one free drink ticket with their entry.

We will have an announcer/DJ to help set the tone. Will be plenty of family appropriate music, including some Halloween favorites!
