The Uptown 5K on the Runway is a Running race in Fort Lauderdale, Florida consisting of a 5K and 1.2K Kids Run/Fun Run.

Compassion will take flight for the annual Uptown 5K on the Runway at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The event celebrates aviation, the Uptown community and compassion towards others. Community members of all ages are invited for this one-of-a-kind 5K fun run/walk on the airport's runway. After the 5K, participants will enter the Event Village for fun and festivities.

The event is a partnership between Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The event is free, but registration is required. All proceeds benefit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
