I have a goal to complete a marathon on every continent, and for 2018 my destination was Africa. I was looking for a more off-the-beaten-path-Adventure-Thon, so when I came across The Amazing Maasai marathon in Kenya I knew I found my race. The purpose of the race is

Beautiful course. Perfect weather. The park is an oasis. A patriotic race. Well organized. Nice race officials. Participants are fantastic! Overall, great race!

This race was very easy to access and had amazing weather and a scenic route. I enjoyed running it since it was well-managed and the crowds were minimal. Packet pick-up was at Navy Pier, though, which was somewhat difficult to access.
