The Break the Silence Stop the Violence 5K is a Running race in Clermont, Florida consisting of a 5K.
Course: The 5K run course is out and back on the South Lake Trail.
Eligibility: This is a family friendly event open to everyone. Charity: A portion of each entry fee paid benefits the Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, a non-profit foundation whose sole mission is to provide victims of domestic violence alternatives to abuse or life-threatening situations, and empowerment to establish a violence-free life. 100% of proceeds from the event will go to the Haven and will be used to help build a pet shelter for the animals of victims staying in the shelter.
