The Injury Prevention 5K is a Running race in Newark, Delaware consisting of a 5K.

Injuries are the leading cause of death for people up to age 44 and they are largely preventable. Your participation will enable Christiana Care to continue to bring injury prevention programs to people of all ages throughout Delaware. The Christiana Care Injury Prevention program reaches over 10,000 children and adults every year in schools and organizations with our programs and health fairs. These programs include fall prevention for the older adult, highway safety for teens, helmet awareness for kids and violence prevention programs for adolescents. By educating people on the importance of making good choices, we can help save lives.
