The Great Turkey Escape is a Running race in Redding, Connecticut consisting of a 1 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.
Like the Redding Road Race, we will spoil our runners with gifts (long sleeve tech shirt, embroidered hat and more). Unlike the Redding Road Race, the course is pretty fast. With the only significant hill at mile 2, lasting 1/7th of a mile, and a fast downhill finish for the last .7 miles, or so, this could be your 5K PR course!
The race begins and ends on the grounds of the West Redding Fire Department (306 Umpawaug Rd) and 100% of proceeds will go to Redding Boy Scouts and the Landmark Preschool Education Fund.
