"Overall a very positive experience. Here are my thoughts:

Pros

1) I liked the race course. Although I know it wasn't easy because of the hills, what goes up must comes down. The first few miles had a good amount of hills but they weren't too steep, and going downhill was really helpful.

A run that you can enjoy with your family! Then venture around Beatrice for all the additional activities that are going on for Homestead Days!

This would have been a Great race instead of just good, with the exception of the weather. You would expect a September race to be nice and cool, but it ended up being a freakishly warm and humid (80s) day, and after a mile, it was rough pushing through already
