Team Loco Marathon - Conway, Georgia - Running

The Team Loco Marathon is a Running race in Conway, Georgia consisting of a Marathon.

It's almost time for the Team Loco Marathon & Half Marathon, the annual loop-de-loop of Tucker Creek Trail in Conway, Arkansas. Loco is a laid back race with ample aid station support, approximately every half mile, offering both full and half marathon distances. And with an eight hour time limit for both it's the perfect choice for a first full. (We are walker friendly!) Plus, at only $40 for either race, Loco is a bargain!

All participants (that register in time) will receive shirts and finisher bling. Awards will be given to the top three finishers for each distance, male and female. The Tail End Award for the last finisher in each race: we celebrate all our racers no matter their pace!

The St. Jude Marathon had been iced out and several of us were depending on that race to qualify for either Marathon Maniac or Half Fanatic status. After some pancakes and probably too much coffee, the idea for the Team Loco races was born. Surely we, a dedicated group of runners could put on a race that met the qualifying standards for the Maniacs and Fanatics. After lots of hustling and more than a little hand wringing, the inaugural Team Loco Marathon and Half Marathon was held in January of 2014. Many Maniac, Fanatics and more importantly memories were made that day. What several of us thought might be a one off turned into an in demand race.
