The Breck Crest Mountain Marathon is a Running race in Breckenridge, Colorado consisting of a Half Marathon and 10K Trail Run and 23 Miles.
It all started in 1995 when some hard core mountain goats working for the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center conjured up this awesome event. After the big snow year in 2005, the BOEC decided to move away from the event and we took up the torch after a one year hiatus. The Breck Crest is quintessential Breckenridge. There's something special about tackling the thing you look up at everyday...the beautiful Ten Mile Range is our backdrop and this course brings you smack into the heart of it.
