Fins, Flippers & Fun 5K - Ventura, California - Running

The Fins, Flippers & Fun 5K is a Running race in Ventura, California consisting of a 5K.

A flat, fast, fun run benefiting Channel Islands Marine and Wildlife Institute (CIMWI). CIMWI is a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. CIMWI is a volunteer operation that relies on public donations for help fund their efforts in saving wildlife. The inaugural out and back 5k run will take place in Ventura along the scenic coastline by the Pier and Surfers' Point. There will be a marine mammal themed festival with food, games, and fun for the whole family. This is intended to be a fun run, all levels are welcome. Walkers are most welcome too!!
