Course is fairly straight forward, out and back. One hill after the turn and a few rollers. The second half was very windy and cold. I made sure I tucked in behind someone to break the wind. Not my favorite half but a good tune up for the NYC marathon. Will

Fairly standard NYRR race -- typical packet pick-up/ race start/ corral set-up/ run through Central Park.

The difference is the vibe. Given the ""kick-off"" to marathon week, all of the runners are pretty excited.
