The City Beer Runs - Standard Deviant Brewing is a Running race in San Francisco, California consisting of a 10K and 5K.

City Beer Runs was created to give local communities social running events that strip away the headaches of large races and focus on the FUN! Forget about PR's and mile split times, throw out the headaches that come with overcrowded and overpriced races and get ready to enjoy running for the pure endorphin generating machine that it is! City Beer Runs combines fully supported 5K runs with some of the best beer around to create one big run loving social event! Each run starts at a local brew house and works it way through city streets before ending back at the host watering hole for a post run social!

/> Whether you are looking to explore the city, find a new running (or drinking) buddy or add a little spice to you Sunday training run... this is the event for you! The goal is to inspire people to get outside and run and create a sense of community that extends beyond the pavement!

At the core of each event is a 5K Fun Run. Participants will receive an event bib, however the run is self timed and all runners must obey all traffic laws. Each run is led by local run coaches and personal trainers and starts with a dynamic warm up to get the blood flowing! Course routes are given both online and at the event, however if you feel like taking a detour be our guest! There will be a hydration station at the half way point as well as ice-cold water at the finish line.

Our runs finish at a local bar/brewery/brew pub/watering hole... where runners are treated to a complimentary beer and City Beer Runs commemorative koozie! The run culminates with a post run social and raffle! Each runner is given a raffle ticket when they pick up their bib and entered in a chance win prizes from local event partners.
