"Fun but frustrating "

I participated in this race because I challenged myself to run a race for every month of the year so I found this one on the internet. They had an awesome opening ceremony and vendors all around! However when the run started, unlike other races I've been to, they did not More... announce that the faster runners should start at the front and when we had set off I was dodging people left and right. There were plenty of markers for the course, mile markers, and volunteers at turnaround points. However, during the race there were other participants who would just walk toward the left or in the middle rather than staying to the right. Toward the end there was a group of people waking together TAKING UP THE ENTIRE PATHWAY. I understand these people probably did not know about running etiquette but it would have been nice if at bib pick up and when the announcer was announcing to remind others of these unwritten rules. Then finishing my race I had realized there were no finisher medals being handed out. I tried to look online to see when awards were going to be held but there was no information so tired and frustrated I just left. I have tried to lookup my race results and they're not posted yet and there is no information on the website about when the race results will be posted. Overall it was a fun time and most of the event was well organized I just wish there was a little more information about racing etiquette, awards, and race results.
