About The Grand Prairie CASA Superhero 5K
The Grand Prairie CASA Superhero 5K is a Running race in DeWitt, Arkansas consisting of a 5K and 1 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run/Walk.
Superheroes will assemble to fight child abuse and neglect at the CASA Superhero Run! This inaugural 5K and kids 1K race helps more than 175 children across the Grand Prairie area comprised of Arkansas, Lonoke, Monroe, and Woodruff counties. CASA speaks up for children who've been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child's safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer, a true superhero, to make independent and informed recommendations in the child's best interest. The 2018 CASA Superhero Run will feature masked and caped runners, villains toKeep Reading chase, incredible photo opportunities with your favorite superhero characters, and a fun time for all. We are activating the Bat Signal and calling on all of our superhero friends to support this incredible event and our community's children.
