The 9-11 Tower Challenge is a Running race in Glendale, Arizona consisting of a Stair Climb - 108 Floors/1433 Steps.
Join us in climbing 2,071 stairs to honor first responders who lost their lives on 9/11 and recognize those who continue to protect us. Participants will climb 2,071 stairs at Gila River Arena in Glendale beginning at 8 a.m. in honor of first responders who lost their lives at the World Trade Center on 9/11 and recognizes those who continue to protect us from foreign and domestic threats. There were 110 floors and 2,071 steps in each of the Twin Towers when the buildings collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.
