Whetstone 5K - Benson, Arizona - Running

The Whetstone 5K is a Running race in Benson, Arizona consisting of a 5K.

Spring into action with the CATT for an inaugural 5k family oriented Walk/Run held in the scenic foothills of the Whetstone Mountains just 45 minutes southeast of Tucson, Arizona. From on-line registration to the OYL chip-timed finish, expect to be treated to incredible views and camaraderie on this out-and-back route. Add RAFFLE PRIZES for participants and a bit of FRIENDLY TEAM RIVALRY, and the fun just gets better!
COURSE: Starting at a cool 4300' elevation, pavement with adjacent grass gains 230' before participants execute a large sweeping mid-point turnaround to be rewarded with a fast downhill finish! Water, sports drinks, and aide stations are provided for your comfort and safety.
WELCOME: Ages 4 to 104! Strollers, sport chairs, handcycles, and wheelchairs are allowed; however, animals, skateboards, bikes, rollerblades, or other wheeled devices are not permitted. Although traffic is restricted to one lane with a pilot car, headphones are discouraged for runner safety.
