About The Tranquility Lake Trail Race

The Tranquility Lake Trail Race is a Running race in Pelham, Alabama consisting of a 6 Miles and 3 Mile Trail Run.

This will be the first races in the Southeastern Trail Series. The race starts at the Redbud Pavilion near the BMX Track. Just follow the signs. The course is gentle with only one easy hill starting at the shores of Tranquility Lake and climbing for about 1/2 mile before dropping down to Maggie's Glen on the Yellow Trail. Cross the creek at Maggie's and head to the left along the White Trail and then down the Cabin Trail back to the start finish area. Make a short loop to the right around Tranquility Road before returning to the Start/Finish and the aid station, finish for the 3 mile and end ofKeep Reading first lap for the 6 mile. Six mile runners repeat the trail around the lake and back to the Finish.

Race shirts are sold separately for Southeastern Trail Series Races. If you do not want a shirt, you shouldn't have to pay for it. We will offer Polly/Cotton blend shirts for Tranquility Lake Trail Race. The price is $7.50. We may be out of shirts by late registration so register at least 10 days before the race to be guaranteed a shirt. Don't forget about the $5 fee to enter Oak Mountain State Park. Exact change helps.
