The YMCA Strides for Kids 5K DASH-All proceeds from this event support the YMCA's Annual Giving Campaign. Every contribution to the Campaign, no matter the size, does its part to provide direct program support and financial assistance to families in our area. By working together, we can have an impact that is felt far beyond simple dollars and cents. We have the chance to build something amazing: the spirit, mind, and body of an entire community. More specifically in our soccer community, we can pass on the passion of our beautiful game to many more children who would otherwise not be able to participate. Our goal is that no one is denied an opportunity to play mini-soccer, recreational soccer, or for the Capital City Streaks, because of the inability to pay. The YMCA is also a leader in our community with our feeding program serving over 600,000 meals to kids that would struggle to find a meal.
