The Run Like An Animal 5K is a Running race in Shreveport, Louisiana consisting of a 5K.

WE ARE PUMPED!!!! It is time for the Annual RUN LIKE AN ANIMAL!!!

Why does The UVH Foundation do a run?? Because UVHvets loves our community, we love people and we love pets!! Let's get outside, enjoy a beautiful morning, play with dogs, and raise funds to help local animals, support transport of adoptable pets out of our region and get pets adopted!!

UVHvets has enjoyed to helping Shreveport - Bossier get outside and get healthy with their pets...and we are super excited about our fourth annual Run Like An Animal!!

The proceeds will benefit Paws 4 Life and Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue. The UVH Foundation - which supports local pet non profits, cares for pets in need, and has two scholarships for registered veterinary technicians.

Our 5K and 1mile will be along the beautiful Red River starting at the Stoner Boat Launch...plan to stay for a great morning of live music, food, beer, drinks, pet games, an awesome award ceremony and see our SPD Canine units with their personalized ballistic vests that The UVH Foundation and YOU raised funds for through Project K9 Rest!! SERIOUSLY... Plan to Stay!
