Loved the whole concept of this race. It is to raise awareness of cancers kids and dogs both develop, and so has both a 5K and 1 Mi. Fun Run for the kids, as well as a 1 mile "Dog Jog!" We were able to do the 5K race

I have run this race 7 times and it never disappoints. You can't beat rounding the first corner and seeing the Pentagon expanse in front of you. Not only is this race in commemoration of the first responders of 9/11, the race is extremely well run and the post-race party is

"Rotary Club does a nice job. Basically flat, with a couple inclines that re good for the legs, excellent traffic control. Real good atmosphere.
Sufficient bathrooms, although an extra one wouldn't hurt.
Good parking.
Suggest they consider asking local vendors for raffle donations."
