The Georgia Trust's Uptown Rhodes Race 5K is moving to Halloween weekend, and what could be more fun than a run from a spooky castle?
Bring your whole family for the Uptown Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle. This dog- and stroller-friendly 5K will wind through the creepy twists and ghoulish hills of one of Atlanta's oldest and loveliest neighborhoods, Ansley Park. Feel free to run or walk in your best Halloween costume!
Afterwards join us at the hair-raising after-party at Rhodes Hall for a costume contest, delicious food and great prizes. You can even take a tour inside our haunted castle, and who knows, maybe you'll get a glimpse of our resident apparition.
Here's what's in store:
Scenic course through historic Ansley Park
Exciting hair-raising after-party
Awesome t-shirt and goodie bag. The loop course is stroller and dog friendly (just as long as your pooch is well-behaved, leashed, and under your control at all times).
Dogs are welcome to join you during the race. There will be special "pet pit stops" along the race route to provide dogs with drinking water. Dogs and their runners will also have their own special start group.
The event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.
