One Step Closer To The Cure 5K - St. Petersburg, Florida - Running

The One Step Closer To The Cure 5K is a Running race in St. Petersburg, Florida consisting of a 1 Mile and 10K and 5K.

The race starts at Albert Whitted Park in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. The runners and walkers get to experience a beautiful sunrise. Most of the course is along the waterfront with city streets closed to traffic. The kid's zone will take place within Albert Whitted Park with lots of fun activities and cool refreshments for the kids. All participants receive a great t-shirt and finisher's medal and get to cheer for women who inspire some many with their strength. Great refreshments and music too and loads of competition among teams.
