You do not want to miss the ALL-NEW & ORIGINAL Schutzenfest 1K Bier Dash fun run, as we combine tradition, sport, and naturally Beer!
The 1K Bier Dash is an un-timed, non-competitive fun run, and is the newest addition to Schutzenfest, America's Longest Running German Fest - Seit 1866! Runners will wind through a scenic 1K course through Kolping's Biergarten and beautiful woods to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you run, walk, or crawl, your challenge is to quench your thirst at not 1, not 2, but 3 beer stations along the way.
After completing the Bier Dash course,Keep Reading runners are awarded a delicious giant Servatii soft pretzel. As a special feature, a celebratory toast of fine German Schnaps with our Schutzen Konig, Ted Hoerstmann, awaits you at the finish line!
Runners are encouraged to come dressed in German attire, as prizes will be awarded to the male and female who runs wearing the most authentic German Tracht.

Schutzenfest features an excellent array of German beers, as well as our famous SchutzenApfel Riesling wine.
