About The Run For Your Life 5K Color Run

The Run For Your Life 5K Color Run is a Obstacle & Mud Runs race in Kinston, North Carolina consisting of a 5K Novelty Run (Short).

Kinston Community Health Center is a non-profit 501c3 providing comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health Care services in Lenoir and surrounding counties. We provide a sliding scale discount program to every person who comes to the Center for care; however some patients still have financial barriers. It is because of this event that we have been able to provide access to individuals who are uninsured, under insured or have no prescription coverage. Assistance is offered to patients, helping them with their co-pays, not only for the visit, but with their medications as well. This event is family friendly, and strollers are welcome.

This run will be timed by Run the East LLC. All participants will receive a bib with a disposable timing tag attached to the back of the bib. Participants should wear the bib on their front during the duration of the race and must not bend or fold the tag.

Free Parking is available on Queen Street, Blount Street, and behind Kinston Community Health Center.
