"Nice Course"

I'm a veteran Spartan racer and tried TT as nothing else was in Florida during the summer. Fairgrounds offers a beautiful venue, varied terrain, a good amount of shade, easy to find and park. Obstacles were a nice change of pace and varied, with more balance emphasis than Spartan More... and less raw strength obstacles. It was low key, more family, less trained runners and somewhat of a fun run group. It is done on a budget as tents and support were modest, few volunteers, and course didn't use as much of the surroundings as it could - just doubled back. Had long wait times at some obstacles as stations were too small; for example, multi rig had 3 lanes, rope walk had 3, but one broke so down to 2. Quality of obstacles was fairly low, home depot climbing ropes that splintered, not mats under climbs, etc. Overall it was a good experience, nice course, low key, not crowded.
