Fun event organized by a local running club on Martha's Vineyard. The flat course is in the sun, but there are water stations along the way and usually some give-a-ways. Great for all levels and ages.

This is one of the oldest races in Vermont and has great history and character. It is mostly on dirt roads and there is a gradual uphill toward the turn around making the last half feel easier than the first half. Don't expect a lot of hoopla, but it is pleasant

The race passes through beautiful rural countryside. Emergency workers with flashing lights provide safety at intersections. T-shirts are comfy and flattering ultra-soft cotton, a lot nicer than other race shirts I have. And the breakfast really is amazing a" bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, fruit. Really the best 5K I've
