Nation's Escape Triathlon
Triathlon: Sprint, Olympic
Washington, District of Columbia
September 9th, 2018
"Aside from the awesome venue, the swim, bike, and run routes were optimized for speed and simplicity. The out and back swim to the Arlington bridge was easy to sight and large buoys further aided in navigation. The bike route was my favorite, with fast, super slab roads perfect for any experience level cyclist. The run was well supported and super flat, with only a single lap distance. I would definitely do this race again!"

The pre race being outside (what if it rained?) as well as the 20 minute delayed start. And the poor post race experience really turned me off the the escape series. From the generic medal to the sad finisher food, i feel let down from having done this race before. More...
