The Muddy Mamas Mud Run is a Running race in Boonsboro, Maryland consisting of a 5K Mud Run.

This exciting and fun community event in Washington County, MD is designed to bring awareness to issues facing girls/women today: physical health and fitness including getting kid's active, building self-esteem, and promoting overall well-being. Two area organizations, Girls Incorporated of Washington County and Girls on the Run partner to promote, manage and ultimately benefit from this fundraiser, keeping all money raised in our community. We know that access to programs and education about healthy lifestyles, nutrition and exercise is crucial for intellectual and physical development. The programs at Girls Inc. and Girls on the Run provide a sense of refuge and healing and help young girls grow into adults who care about themselves and their future. The funds raised from the fundraiser will go directly to programs that address well-being, exercise and how to keep your body, heart and soul healthy!

Muddy Mamas is an untimed obstacle course (almost a 5k) with mud just for girls/women held at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro MD. It is designed to push you slightly out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you are comfortable going. Forming teams is highly encouraged! At Muddy Mamas you'll find excitement, laughter, and camaraderie-as well as lots of music and even some adult beverages. It's a day you'll never forget. Run, walk, climb, crawl-you will experience it all. With the activities, mud and obstacles prepare to laugh until your cheeks hurt. But don't worry, if you get to an obstacle that's more than a challenge for you-we won't tell if you take a detour.
