A friend of mine recommended this race to me. This race held on 9/10 is a memorial race to honor and remember all those lives lost on 9/11. The race started and ended at Bar Anticipation in Belmar. The weather was brutally hot and humid (95 degrees +) very little

The race was really well organized from the course markings all the way down to the finish line area/post-race setup. The race director has improved each year the prizes and giveaways and it really gives the race a nice touch.

Would definitely run this race again next year!

I've run this race 15 times! It's well organized and in a spectacular location. Meb, Bill Rogers, Joan Benoit have run this race in the last few years. The course is breathtaking. Pre- and Post-race activities are plentiful. It's a great weekend destination. If you want to read my full review,
