Enjoy your 2.4-mile two-loop swim in the crown jewel of Northern Idaho, Lake Coeur d'Alene. This lake is the heart of the region and where you'll start your IRONMAN Coeur d'Alene journey! Most mornings the lake is flat with average water temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s.

Bike
This two-loop bike course starts with a great, rather flat, out and back section along Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive where you can find an easy rhythm and re-energize for the day. As you pedal out of town your course leads to the rolling hills of Northern Idaho. Settle into your aero position and count the miles tick away. Family and friends will welcome you back to town to start the second loop and again after completing the 112-miles!

Run
The IRONMAN Coeur d'Alene run course features spectator lined, energetic neighborhoods, amazing views of Lake Coeur d'Alene, and a triumphant finish downtown! This pleasingly mild run course allows athletes to challenge their race pace while spectators keep their energy high throughout the day.
