More Than A Decade of Top Tier Racing
With wide roads, scenic backdrop and incredible spectator energy, swim in a calm and protected bay, cycle along well-maintained and wide highways of the SCTEX and run on the SBECC to the Maritan Highway and to the scenic El Kabayo road. This course has become what athletes love to come back to, for eleven years and running.
Swim
The swim starts at the Subic Bay Boardwalk beach fronting the Waterfront Road. Participants will do a two loop anti-clockwise format which begins with a straight 750 meters, followed by a left turn for 400 meters, then a final 750 meters left turn bringing them to the beach area heading to the transition area, to start the bike course.
Bike
The 90km bike course is comprised of 2 loops. It starts From Boardwalk participants heading to Rizal Ave, they make a right to Argonaut, then left to causeway and turn left to Maritan and enter SFEX, heading to Tipo gate and enter the SCTEX. Participant head towards Dinalupihan and continue to the first turn around at KM 29, and head back towards the second turn around just before Tipo Gate at KM 45, which complete the first loop. Participant heads back out to the third turn around at KM 62 and head back to Tipo gate at KM 80 and exit SCTEX, heading to Subic via SFEX. Participants will exit towards Maritan, then right to causeway, then right to Argonaut, they exit to Rizal Ave and take a right towards SBECC to complete the bike course.
Run
The 21km run course is comprised of 2 loops and starts at the SBECC. Participant heads towards efficiency road, and turn towards Hitachi road exiting Binictican drive and turn right heading to Maritan Highway. From Martian, they take a left and turn right to El Kabayo Road, reaching the first turn around point at KM 5.30. Participants follow the same route back to SBECC, to make the second turn around at KM 10.5 completing the first loop of the course. Participant heads back to El Kabayo and make the third turn around at KM 15.8 and head back to SBECC for the finish line.
