What Racers Have to Say About The Ironman 70.3 Eagleman

"The race takes place in a nice bay - fair visibility and some jellyfish, but obviously can't control the jellyfish. The bike is the flattest ride I've ever encountered. There is no shade, I mean NONE. Some wind on the course, but overall fairly decent. Well marked, awesome seeing bald eagles throughout the course.

Run was also very hot, no shade at all. Flat as a pancake. I actually prefer hills on races, so overall it was too flat for me.

Post race was kind of a letdown- not much really going on. I wish they had somewhere to shower afterwards. "
