I was so excited to be part of this amazing event! It was action packed for all 26.2 miles! The course was great! The city of Chicago was so pretty! I loved seeing the tall skyscrapers on every corner & was also charmed by the quaintness of every neighborhood we ran

Great course. I know people complained about the location of the number pickup. Unless you live in Dumbo, the pickup location is pretty out of the way. This is the first run I know about where the race organizers let you send a "proxy" to pickup your number

The swimming portion runs parallel to the beach and the waves are typically small so early in the morning.
The bike portion has a beautiful 11.1 mile course along the Lake Minnewaska and beautiful views and the run is 2.5 miles
out and back along the Lake and finishes by a soccer field.
