The Father's Day Run/Walk is a Running race in Fresno, California consisting of a 2 Miles and 5K and 6 Miles.
The inaugural Father's day Run in 1965 began with the idea of bringing family's together to celebrate exercise in Fresno.
Coach Fries figured, if we could get fathers to run, the whole family would come in support, raising the awareness of running in Fresno.
Well almost a half a century later Coach was right, as FDR plays host to an average of 1000 attendees yearly.
