Everglades Ultras - Copeland, Florida - Running

The Everglades Ultras is a Running race in Copeland, Florida consisting of a 25K Trail Run and 50 Miles and 50K Trail Run.

Trail races of 50 miles, 50 kilometers (31 miles) and 25 kilometers (15.6 miles) right through the Florida Everglades. Runners are fully supported by aid stations throughout the course. Nearly 70 miles of trails are cleared each year in order for this race to happen. Experience this spectacular and unique venue along old loging trams--trails raised above the cypress swamp lowlands--and through expansive grassland prairies, tropical hardwood hammocks and pine rock lands. The location is the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State park, the largest state park in Florida, featuring the largest variety of orchids and bromeliads on the continent and the exotic animal life of this unique American treasure.
