The Ellerbe Marathon is a Running race in Ellerbe, North Carolina consisting of a Marathon.
It is a loop starting and finishing near the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. It is a USATF certified course #NC13006DF and a Boston qualifier. Everything is a paved rural state roads running by many farms and large tracks of uninhabited woodland. Most runners consider this a hilly course. There are 8 aid stations at approximately 3-4 mile intervals. The farthest distance between any aid station will be 4.5 miles. Station 1 will be water only.
