The Mohawk Towpath Byway Duathlon is a Duathlon race in Rexford, New York consisting of a Sprint.
The 2 mile run is a relatively flat out and back course, The 17 mile bike is rolling using a 7 mile loop set within the historic context of the Erie Canal and against the backdrop of colorful fall foliage.
This annual event attracts top local multisport athletes as well as recreational runners and bikers. The first 120 registered receive a free t-shirt and other goodies. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each 10 year age groups. In addition a gold medal is awarded to each member of the winning men's, woman's, and mixed teams. All entries include
The courses are through rural, fall-foliage lined landscapes along the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway. Great volunteers as course marshalls provide a hometown atmosphere.
