Dr. James H. Crowdis Run - Blakely, Georgia - Running

The Dr. James H. Crowdis Run is a Running race in Blakely, Georgia consisting of a 10K and 5K.

The Dr. James H. Crowdis 5k race will be held at the Blakely First United Methodist Church. The starting line is directly behind the church adjacent to the back porch. Participants should begin to line up about 9:10am. The race will begin at 9:15am.

Runners should line up according to ability. Those lined up on the front should be capable of running 7:00 per mile pace or faster. This is to guarantee the safety of all runners. The starter will assist in lining up runners and may ask some to move back. In the event of a runner falling at the start, the race will continue and not be restart.

Runners should wear their bib on the front so that it is visible at the finish line and also on the course. The runners name and age will be on the bib. Bibs should not be worn on the back. Any runner who is running without a race bib should step off to the side before crossing the finish line. Any runner who has already finished the race should not cross the finish line a second time.
