"I have mixed reviews on this race and need to explain my star ranking. My experience was unique because I had a bike accident at mile 15 and spent time in an ambulance getting bandaged up before continuing. Support from the EMS and race marshalls was wonderful.

I would do this

As with all Rock n Roll races, the logistics of packet pickup, race start, aid stations, finish corrals are all taken care of and easy for first timers to figure out. Weather was clear and a perfect 45 degrees. Good crowds on course. Only Negative is you MUST pay

The best in town! But I have to say that Chicago Marathon could do. Better job at their medals, com'on! This years was better, but they have pretty ugly finishing medals compared to my other events. On another note, it was nearly impossible to leave the gated area. All runners where
