The race takes place in a nice bay - fair visibility and some jellyfish, but obviously can't control the jellyfish. The bike is the flattest ride I've ever encountered. There is no shade, I mean NONE. Some wind on the course, but overall fairly decent. Well marked,

Due to confusion about the course, this race was a complete disaster. Runners being sent down the wrong streets, backtracking, running into others going the wrong way...could they have screwed it up any more? Most of the 5K runners ended up running about 2.3 miles, that is, if they didn't fall

I've run this 2 Mile race over a dozen times and it's always a great time. Mary the Race Director and Gio do an awesome job. This year the race attendance of runners and walkers was around a 1,000 entries. Perfect weather for February (sunny 35 -40 degrees), nice sweat
