The Safe Kids Northwest Tulip Pedal is a Cycling race in La Conner, Washington consisting of a 20 Miles and 40 Miles.
The Tulip Pedal will offer three rides - a 20-mile course around the tulip fields between Mount Vernon and La Conner, and a 40-mile course that will begin and end near the tulip fields, and also will take cyclists past breathtaking views of Samish and Padilla bays, Mount Baker and the Cascade foothills. The 60-mile course will incorporate elements of the shorter courses, but will take riders south to Fir Island.
All rides begin and end at the La Conner Elementary School complex, 512 N. 6th St., in lovely La Conner, Washington. Registration begins at 7 a.m., closes at noon. Course is open until 4 p.m.
