About The Burleigh County Cup
The Burleigh County Cup is a Cycling race in Bismarck, North Dakota consisting of a Road Race - 35 Miles and 75 Miles.
The annual Burleigh County Cup will be held starting and finishing once again in beautiful Eagle Park just north of Bismarck, North Dakota. We can see it now ... Deleting the Cup's route from your Garmin's memory and making your mom the top priority of Mother's Day weekend. Alright, alright. Well before you call home and apologize for giving her nothing but dirty chamois to wash as a gift for the last seven years, allow us to explain. It's a very good time in its life. It's finally learning to color in the lines (though we still encourage coloring outside of them, but more on that later), it is makingKeep Reading some real friends and is even sitting at the table nicely and eating its vegetables without being asked repeatedly. With this growth and maturity comes the opportunity to expand the event and increase its quality. That is exactly what the Cup, and the Burleigh County Bicycle Cult intend to do.
What started as a small gravel ride/race inspired by Chris Skogen's Almanzo in southern Minnesota has quickly become a central ND cycling tradition. As we grow we want the experience that every rider receives to be of the highest quality, while being an affordable and approachable event to as many as possible.
