The Hawaii KOM Fondo and Hill Climb Race is a Cycling race in Waikoloa, Hawaii consisting of a Gran Fondo - 60 Miles and 17 Miles.
The Hawaii KOM Fondo and Hill Climb Race is the first event of it's kind on Hawaii Island. There has not been a race from sea level (0 ft elevation) to the end of Mauna Loa Road (11,000 ft elevation) for quite a few years, so we thought we should bring something like it back. The great news about this event, and the reason you should sign up, is that the max gradient for it is just 11%. So it's pretty steady riding for the whole way up.
