The Great Race is a Running race in Perry, Florida consisting of a 5K.
The Great Race was a part of the Forest Festival events in Perry back in the late 70's and early 80's. The club brought back this event in 2013 and continues each Forest Festival morning as a beautiful cool and sometimes cold 5k run in late October each year.

The 5k route begins at The Parkside Cafe & Coffee, 105 East Ellis Street, and takes runners on a winding course through historic downtown Perry and finishing on Jefferson Street amongst cheering spectators lined up for the Forest Festival parade.
The race begins at 8am. Awards at 9am to overall male/female, and 1st, 2nd,
