Buckeye Trail Run for Blue Blazes - Shawnee, Ohio - Running

The Buckeye Trail Run for Blue Blazes is a Running race in Shawnee, Ohio consisting of a Half Marathon and Marathon and 10K and 5K.

Join us for the Annual Buckeye Trail Run - Run for Blue Blazes. This is a Marathon, 14 Mile, 10K and 5K race on the Buckeye Trail, in the Wayne National Forest. Most of the course is on single track trail, with hilly conditions. The half and full marathon has over 1056 feet of elevation change. The Start and Finish of this race is in downtown Shawnee, Ohio, near the Buckeye Trail Association office, 127B W. Main Street,

There will be wave starts with the Marathon starting at 8:30AM, followed by the 14 Mile run and then the 10K & 5K race. The start and finish of all four events is on Main Street, in Shawnee, Ohio, near the Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) office.

After the race participants can enjoy food prepared by the world famous BTA Chuckwagon cooks. The same chuckwagon used by the BTA Trail Maintenance volunteers who work year-round building and maintaining our Buckeye Trails throughout the state of Ohio.

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and age group top finishers. Age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over.
