Black Swamp Dash - Oak Harbor, Ohio - Obstacle & Mud Runs

The Black Swamp Dash is a Obstacle & Mud Runs race in Oak Harbor, Ohio consisting of a 5K Mud Run.

The Black Swamp Dash is our premier event. It will be a two day event. SATURDAY there WILL BE TIMING FOR ALL WAVES, with the 9 o'clock wave being reserved as an Elite wave for the serious OCR men and women racing for the best time (Anyone can sign up for the Elite wave). There will be special awards for top male and female from the Elite wave ONLY!
As for our course we believe that you sign up for an obstacle/mud run for the Obstacles and the Mud or you would just sign up for any old run. Our course consists of 3.2 miles and 26+, yes that's right 26+ obstacles, not counting the obstacle of the natural terrain. Although we have water, mud, and muck none of it is deep. There is NO swimming and we DO NOT allow diving of any kind.
The big difference in our course is that most obstacles, you can choose your own challenge. Here you can choose how far you want to push yourself. Our obstacles have a normal side and an Extreme side. If you're the Extreme athlete looking to push your limits or your the first timer just looking to get off the couch and try something new this is the course for you.
