8th Ave and Jackson St, Belle Fourche, SD
The Belle Fourche Rodeo Run is a Running race in Belle Fourche, South Dakota consisting of a 10K and 5K.
The Rodeo Run is one of the longest running (pun intended) events in western South Dakota. The race was first held in 1978 during the annual Black Hills Roundup when, at the last minute, the carnival failed to show and another event was needed to fill the void. It has been held every year since and has become an annual tradition for those coming to Belle Fourche for one of the biggest and best 4th of July celebrations in the country. Proceeds from the event go toward supporting youth sports and activities in Belle Fourche.
