What Racers Have to Say About The Back Roads Half Marthon

"All the distances of this race are worth running. The trails at Independence Oaks are challenging and the Back Roads are rolling hills. The scenery is gorgeous at this time of year, and the after party is great, with music, the famous Union Mac n cheese (the Clarkston Union was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives), and local beers. The Start/Finish at Twin Chimneys picnic shelter has two fireplaces to keep you warm if the pre-race warmup and post-race camaraderie arenat enough. The shirt designs are always great, and the bibs and medals coordinate. Race staffers and volunteers are awesome!"
